Sake hates the hairdryer, tolerates a towel for about four seconds, then does the full-body shake that soaks everything in a two-metre radius anyway. This is what fixed it.

Shaped like an actual robe rather than a towel draped over the back, it wraps fully around and secures with an adjustable strap. Ultra-absorbent microfiber soaks up water fast, so the post-bath shake has a lot less to work with.
